1. UCLA - Back on top, but tough road games @ A. St. & Ariz.
2. Texas - Big win at Kansas St., @ Texas Tech next.
3. Tennessee - Huge win at Memphis, letdown @ Vandy.
4. Memphis - Maybe the Tenn. loss takes the pressure off.
5. North Carolina - Peaking at the right time, @ BC Sat.
6. Kansas - They are good, but I'm not a believer yet.
7. Xavier - 10 straight wins in the Atlantic-10.
8. Stanford - Sweet 16 wouldn't surprise me.
9. Wisconsin - Leading the Big Ten, Mich. State Thur.
10. Indiana - Coach fired, they're inspired.
11. Georgetown - Big game Saturday at Marquette.
12. Connecticut - Came back to earth at Villanova.
13. Louisville - 7 straight wins, ND & Villanova next.
14. Vanderbilt - Overrated? Maybe, but they beat Tenn.
15. Saint Mary's - Big game at Gonzaga Saturday.
16. Drake - Beat Butler, letdown at Missouri St.
17. Butler - Lost to Drake, but still very good.
18. Purdue - Big Ten tourney will be exciting.
19. Marquette - Hard to figure, nice win @ Villanova.
20. Kansas State - Michael Beasley is a beast.
21. Davidson - My sleeper team of the year.
22. Kentucky - Still needs quality wins, @ Tenn. Sat.
23. Brigham Young - A very quiet 22-6 out West.
24. New Mexico - Steve Alford's team is tourney bound.
25. Washington State - Hanging on to the top 25.

Men's Division II
1. Saint Anselm - Smoked Stonehill, ready for tourney.
2. Bentley - 53 straight! Most reg. season wins in Div. II history.
3. Grand Valley State - Regular season perfection, 30-0.
4. Winona State - They open tourney play Saturday.
5. Cal. State San Bernadino - Starts league tourney Monday.
Men's Division III
1. Framingham State - Lost in MASCAC first round.
2. Newbury - Finished 18-9, lost league title game 68-66.
3. Amherst - Hosts Bowdoin in NESCAC Semi's Saturday.
4. Brandies - 19-5 Judges host NYU Violets on Saturday.
5. Washington U. (St. Louis) @ Chicago Sat. for league title.
Women's Division I
1. Connecticut - Won at LSU, clearly number one.
2. Tennessee - They are good but beatable.
3. North Carolina - Just a powerhouse.
4. LSU - Sylvia Fowles is unstoppable!
5. Rutgers - Don Imus' favorite team.
