1. Memphis - Their poor free throw shooting might hurt them.
2. Tennessee - Big showdown with Memphis Feb. 23rd.
3. UCLA - Disappointing loss to Wash., USC on Sunday.
4. Texas A&M - Huge game at Texas Monday.
5. Texas - Beat Kansas, Baylor & A&M Next.
6. Butler - Can avenge their loss to Clev. St. on Saturday.
7. Kansas - Needs to get back on track after Texas loss.
8. North Carolina - Squeaked by Virginia last night.
9. Georgetown - Late season stumble against Louisville.
10. Stanford - The Harvard of the West has won 7 straight.
11. Xavier - Tough road games this week at Char. & URI.
12. Purdue - Beat Mich. State, leads a weak Big Ten.......Eleven.
13. Michigan State - Needs a quality win at Indiana Saturday.
14. Drake - Big Missouri Valley game at So. Illinois tonight.
15. Saint Marys - Important league game at Pepperdine Sat.
16. Washington State - Fading, lost 3 of last 4.
17. Indiana- They have big games coming up, they need wins.
18. Wisconsin - Same as Indiana, I can't drop them too far.
19. Connecticut - They might not lose until March, if then.
20. Vanderbilt - Smoked Kentucky, Fla. Gators Sat. - chomp.
21. Louisville - Probably should be ranked higher.
22. Kansas State - Michael Beasley is a force.
23. Marquette - 5-5 in their last 10 games, needs wins.
24. Pittsburgh - Brutal schedule, needs wins for tourney.
25. Columbia - Historic weekend sweep of Penn. & Princeton.
Men's Division II
1. Saint Anselm - Win over St. Rose tonight would be sweet.
2. Bentley - This could be the Falcons year.
3. Grand Valley State - Lakers vs. Bentley would be a great game.
4. Winona State - What a program! 93-7 in their last 100 games.
5. Cal. State San Bernadino - 4 game home stand to end reg. season.
Men's Division III
1. Framingham State - Beat Bridgewater, led by Josue Almodovar.
2. Amherst - NESCAC regular season champions.
3. Brandies - Lost at Rochester in Jan., revenge game on Friday.
4. Rochester - Yellow Jackets have lost 2 of last 3.
5. Washington Univ. (St. Louis) - Bears host Brandies Feb 22nd.
Women's Division I
1. Tennessee - Beat Rutgers with help from the clock operator.
2. Connecticut - Their next possible loss is at LSU Feb. 25th.
3. North Carolina - Will not lose again until March.
4. Maryland - BC Thursday, Duke Saturday.
5. Stanford - Tall team, 10 game winning streak.
